Myalgic Encephalo-myelitis
|
Annika was diagnosed with chronic fatigue syndrome in the summer of 2016 after a viral infection resulted in an incomplete semester at school, being unable to work, and over 4 months being bedridden. At 21 years of age this was a shock and confusion to her and she dealt intensely with grief before obtaining a concrete diagnosis. Despite the limited treatment options for recovery, Annika wishes to help others with or without ME/CFS cultivate hope and any obtainable progress despite the neglect and abuse of the healthcare system. Annika started the Invisible Illness Initiative as a way to raise awareness and promote networking and healing. Annika wants to help you with your diagnosis and connect you to the best treatment and programs possible. Fill out the form below or click here to contact her.
